Thematic German exercises (A1–A2)

When learning a language you need topics as much as grammar: saying quantities at the supermarket, describing symptoms at the doctor's, buying a ticket at the station. The exercises on this page practise four everyday topics at A1–A2 level with vocabulary, set phrases and short dialogues.

Each topic has four steps: matching, multiple choice, Richtig/Falsch and writing. The explanation after your answer tells you not only what is correct but also why the form you chose is not. Above each exercise there is a link to its own explanation (in Turkish).
