German adjectives compare in three steps: groß → größer → am größten. Each question shows a German sentence with a gap and its English translation, and you choose the form that fits: the base form (Positiv) between so and wie, the Komparativ before als, or the Superlativ with am or with an article (der höchste Berg). Irregular forms (gut → besser, viel → mehr, hoch → höher, nah → näher), umlauts and superlative spelling (der schlechteste) are all part of the practice. After every answer you see the completed sentence and the rule behind it; many questions also add a short hint.
