About Futur-Meister

German forms the future tense (Futur I) with a form of werden plus an infinitive, which goes at the end of a main clause: Ich werde morgen Deutsch lernen. With wohl or wahrscheinlich, Futur I also expresses an assumption about the present: Er wird wohl zu Hause sein (he’s probably at home). In each question you see a German sentence with a gap and its English translation, and you choose the right verb form from four options. After every answer a short note explains the rule.

A2 practices the basic forms (werde, wirst, wird, werden, werdet), B1 adds assumptions and promises, and B2 contrasts Futur werde with Konjunktiv II würde and adds Futur II (Bis morgen werde ich alles erledigt haben). There is also a mixed level. A round has up to 10 questions, and you have 3 lives. The game is free, needs no account and keeps your progress in your browser.
